Prep pie crust according to package directions and place one crust into a 9-in. pie plate. Trim crust even with rim. Set aside.
Preheat oven to 375°.
Place cherries in a large bowl and add lemon juice and almond extract. Toss to coat.
In a small bowl, mix sugar, flour and cinnamon. Sprinkle into medium bowl over cherries and toss again to coat.
Add filling into prepared pie crust.
Take the remaining pie crust and cut into strips. Place strips over filling in a weaved pattern. Trim, seal and flute edge.
Bake until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly, 40-60 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
