Combine all marinade ingredients into a small bowl and mix well.
Place the salmon in a large zip-tight bag and add the marinade, turning to coat the fish entirely. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Take a large piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil, double it, and remove the salmon from the marinade. Lay salmon skin side down in the center of the foil.
Grill salmon skin-side down until internal temperature reaches at least 145°F.
Rest salmon for 5 minutes before serving.
